| No wonder airlines are going broke... they have stupid policies where they would rather lose money than make money....
I booked a roundtrip flight but can't make the departure flight so they won't allow me to take the return flight unless I pay $150. Booking a new one way flight is only $135 so why would I change my flight???
So I am not going to cancel my original flight and let them have an empty seat on a roundtrip flight that they could have sold for $300. I literally asked them why they would want to make $135 off me and waste 2 seats when they can make $300??? They responded that it's policy.... nice policy to turn down profits!!!
My advice to everyone is to stay away from US Airways but if you must travel with them then never book a roundtrip ticket. Book two one way tickets.... they are the same price as if you would book a round trip. In case anything goes wrong, you can cancel one of the segments and still keep the other w/o getting raped.

| So much has happened this year and it's only the middle of February....
1. I just moved to Las Vegas.
2. I am officially going to UNLV School of Dental Medicine.

| Wow... when the fire started out in Irvine, I never thought it had enough legs to reach Portola Hills but I guess I was wrong. It is not fun having all your stuff packed in your car and sitting in your house waiting for mandatory evacuations. It is also not fun staring out your window at the fire approaching and wondering whether it would break the line. My house is at the northern most section of Portola Hills (right by Cook's Corner) and the fire teased me by trying to surround my house from every direction but the south(http://www.ocregister.com/article/map-santiago-fire-1902193-orange-county). These firefighters did a great job protecting the whole community and I hope they catch that demented coward who started the fires. Here are a few pics my brother took at the park down the block:

- Tuesdays: The Unit, Law and Order SVU
- Wednesdays: One Tree Hill
- Thursdays: CSI, ER
- Still waiting on 24, Entourage, and Battlestar Galactica next year...
This doesn't even include MLB playoffs, Football, College Football, and NBA. I just realized that I watch way too much TV. |
